Partner terms and conditions

The platform provides the provider with a ready-to-use digital business environment under a free subdomain following the pattern partnername.domestoriesmedia.org. If the provider has their own domain, it can be connected to the business environment.

Depending on the chosen service scope, the business environment includes in particular a dedicated brand presence, content management, product and offer management, membership and access management, payment processing, AI-powered features, and a data archive.

The provider is solely responsible for the content, offers, and prices they publish, and for the lawful delivery of their services to their customers.

The setup phase lasts 14 days and is free of charge. During this phase the provider can configure their business environment, add content, and make it publicly accessible under their subdomain. Sales and downloads are not possible during the setup phase.

After the setup phase ends, the provider can choose between a monthly contract and an annual contract. On request, the setup phase can be extended by one week. If the provider does not conclude a contract afterwards, the business environment is deactivated. The data is deleted after 30 days.

Durations of digital provision

The technical provision of a purchased offer follows the duration set by the provider. A month starts with the successful receipt of payment and ends on the same calendar day of the following month; if that day does not exist in the following month, the term ends on the last calendar day of that month. An annual term ends on the same calendar day of the following year; if that day does not exist in the following year, the term ends on the last calendar day of that month.

End of the provider's contract

Offers with durations extending beyond the end of the provider's contract are shown in the system as "currently unavailable". A purchase becomes possible again once the provider's contract has been renewed and paid. The provider is informed about the end of the contract and its impact on their offers.

Dome Stories Media combines the technical provision of the business environment with personal guidance and mentorship. As part of the collaboration, the platform supports the provider, among other things, with the development and design of content and offers, in live sessions, through personal advice, by answering questions, and with the creation and further development of documents and other content.

The monthly or annual base fee covers the technical provision of the platform and the agreed mentorship services. The platform fee of 12% gives Dome Stories Media a share in the provider's economic success and is part of the joint business model.

A 12% platform fee on the net amount after discounts applies to every sale from offers that are advertised, presented, described, or initiated via the platform. For payments processed through the platform, the fee is settled automatically.

The collaboration thrives on the community: the entire blueprint of the Business Engine is openly shared — with tips and tricks, personal help, regular online sessions in which questions are answered, new documents are created, and what has been learned is practised, as well as the connection to social media. Within the community, every provider has the opportunity to practise hosting online sessions and to present their offer or a special topic. This is why it does not matter whether a piece of content has already existed in this form: about 80% comes down to positioning and marketing. In addition, further services such as add-on products (e.g. video editing, social media marketing) are continuously being developed.

The platform fee is owed regardless of the payment method used. It applies in particular also to cash payments on site, invoices, bank transfers, payments via another provider, or processing via another website, provided the offer was made known, described, or brokered via the platform. The same applies to follow-up bookings by the same customer within twelve months.

The provider reports such sales by the 10th of the following month via the admin form or by email and receives an invoice for them. It is prohibited to deliberately present offers on the platform in a way that diverts payment past the platform (e.g. "cash payment on site only", "booking via direct message", references to external payment methods).

The platform may review published content automatically, including with the support of AI, for indications of external payment methods and potentially unlawful content.

In the event of a substantiated suspicion, the platform may ask the provider for clarification. If a violation of these terms or of applicable law is confirmed, the platform may take appropriate measures, in particular remove the content in question, suspend sales, claim outstanding platform fees, or block access to the business environment.

In the event of non-payment, repeated circumvention, or unlawful content, sales may be suspended and the contract terminated with immediate effect. The monthly contract can be terminated with effect from the end of a month, the annual contract with effect from the end of its term.

Content and data contributed by the provider themselves remain the property or right ownership of the provider.

For work results created by Dome Stories Media in the course of the collaboration, the provider receives the agreed rights of use after full payment of the contractual services owed.

The platform itself, its software, technical architecture, methodology, templates, processes, and the Business Engine Blueprint remain the property of Dome Stories Media and are not transferred by the collaboration.

The provider can download a complete archive of their data once the contractual services have been paid and the contract is still running. After the end of the contract, the offer is deactivated and the data is deleted after a transition period of 30 days. Recovery is not possible after that.

The provider is liable for content, prices, taxes, and fulfilment towards their own customers. Any liability of the platform for lost profit or consequential damages is, to the extent permitted by law, excluded. Swiss law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Winterthur. Changes to these terms are announced at least 30 days in advance.

Should individual provisions of these terms be or become wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. In place of the invalid or unenforceable provision, a regulation applies that comes as close as possible to the economic and factual purpose of the original provision and that the contracting parties would reasonably have agreed upon had they recognised the invalidity or unenforceability when concluding the contract.
